INT 101 - Interpreting I Interpreting I is the first of a two-part sequence that develops the students’ interpreting skills. Bilingual students in any spoken language will learn, practice, and acquire consecutive interpreting skills. These skills include: listening skills, analytical ability, note-taking, short-term memory enhancement, paraphrasing, rapid language switching, and self-monitoring of accuracy. An introduction to sight translation will also be included. 3 lecture hours per week. 3 credit hours.
