DENH 2449 - Clinical Services III This course will refine the student’s clinical skills and incorporate the base of knowledge in pathology and periodontology as it relates to the dental clinical setting. The student will develop more independent thinking and self-directive skills while continuing to demonstrate significant confidence, independence and efficiency necessary for a dental hygienist. Upon completion of the course, the fourth semester dental hygiene student will be prepared as a dental hygiene graduate by successful clinical testing in mock board, selected competency examinations, and reviewing graduation requirements. 15 lecture, 180 practicum hours. 3 credit hours This course is only available to students who have been accepted into a Rutgers program.
