ENG 202 - Literature of the Western World II This course includes a survey of the major periods in the development of Western literature from the Renaissance to the postmodern with an emphasis on the major figures such as Machiavelli, Shakespeare, Voltaire, Goethe, Tolstoy, Kafka, Eliot, and Borges. The place of literature in the social and political history of the West will also be explored. Prerequisite: ENG 102 . 3 lecture hours per week. 3 credit hours
