HSM 290 - Co-op Experience in Hospitality Management This one-semester internship in an approved hospitality organization reinforces classroom and textbook theory with practical hospitality operations experience. This course provides a forum where students can apply the management concepts learned in class and can acquire the hands-on experience necessary to qualify for an entry-level position in the hospitality industry. A weekly seminar on campus is included. This course is only open to matriculated students in the hospitality management program. This course should be taken in the student’s last semester of the program. Prerequisites: HSM 205 and HSM 220 . 3 credit hours
