COM 106 - Introduction to Television: Production and Theory This course provides an introduction to the methods and equipment used in the production of television programs in a studio environment. This course includes discussion of the technical systems on which television is based. Students gain experience by assuming the role of producer/director and various crew positions such as floor manager, cameraman, etc. Students will take a critical look at television and its effect as a communications medium. 3 lecture hours per week 3 credit hours
