CRJ 205 - Police Role in the Community This course provides a survey of policy history within the larger social context. Root causes of crime and disorder are explored in order to look at contemporary police responses. Topics include discussion of the working personality of the police officer with an emphasis on examining the relationship between the police and the community and an understanding of interpersonal relations and cultural diversity in our communities. Prerequisite(s): ENG 096 , if required by DSP. 3 lecture hours per week 3 credit hours
