SOC 207 - Social Inequality ▲ = Fulfills a General Education Requirement This course examines the concepts of race, gender and social class and how they are manifested in social life. A number of socially relevant topics will be discussed including social class and power, racism, sexism and discrimination. In addition, class-based and gender-based social policy will also be examined. Possible resolutions to these and other issues are also explored. Prerequisite(s): SOC 101 3 lecture hours per week 3 credit hours
