BUS 223 - Introduction to Entrepreneurism This course provides a clear and comprehensive introduction to business skills and principles, which support independent business innovation, ownership, and management. This course departs from traditional small business management courses by incorporating new themes and principles of management more appropriate to self-conceived and self-directed small business innovators striving to survive in a dynamic global and technological business environment. Topics include the innovative process, creating markets, and technology support of innovation. Students learn how a small business can establish a market presence and compete successfully against large competitors. 3 lecture hours per week 3 credit hours
