HIS 103 - Introduction to World History I ▲ = Fulfills a General Education Requirement This course is a study of the major elements of world history from ancient times to 1500 with attention to prehistoric humans; the irrigation societies of Mesopotamia, Egypt, and India; the classical civilizations of Greece, Rome, India, and China; the later cultures of Byzantium, Islam, East Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe. Prerequisite(s): ENG 097 , if required 3 lecture hours per week 3 credit hours
