MAT 125 - Survey of Special Topics in Mathematics ▲ = Fulfills a General Education Requirement This course is designed for liberal arts majors. Its objective is to give students an appreciation of the beauty and utility of mathematics, and to provide a better idea of what mathematics is and where it can be applied. Topics include Set Theory, Logic, Geometry, Operations Research & Game Theory, and Voting & Social Choice. Prerequisite(s): ENG 097 , a satisfactory score on the College Basic Skills Test for Algebra, or grade of “C”, or MAT 016/MAT 017 or MAT 022
