HIS 279 - New Jersey History

This course explores New Jersey’s rich history from settlement to the present day. Historical context will provide a foundation for students to engage in semester-long projects focusing on significant events, the state’s diversity, and its role in broader American history. Students will develop critical thinking and research skills as they explore some of the unique stories that have shaped the Garden State.
Prerequisite(s): ENG 097, if required by DSP.
