HUD 215 - Advanced Techniques of Interpreting This course is a classroom practice to provide more in-depth skill and technique development in interpreting and transliterating and introduces students to specifically interpreting situations: education and technical, medical, mental health, legal, oral, deaf-blind, etc. Strategies for enhancing professional attitudes and ethical behaviors in interpreters, team interpreting and working with deaf interpreters are discussed. This course is highly interactive with literatures and group discussions as part of the institutional approach. Prerequisites: HUD 106 or HUD 108 . 2 lecture hours per week. 2 credit hours
