ESL 057 - Advanced I Grammar/Writing This course is part of a multi-level English for Academic Purposes (EAP) sequence designed for students whose native language is not English. This course teaches students to write clear, organized essays in a variety of rhetorical styles, including essays that summarize, respond to, and incorporate ideas from academic sources. The course presents and develops the grammar and editing skills required to express ideas clearly. Prerequisites: ESL 047 or ESL 087 or ESL Placement Test 6 lecture hours per week 6 institutional credits
